The Way to 14 Year Old's Heart is Through an iPAD

Jacob spoke to me tonight!!! Well, that's exaggerating. He spoke while sitting next to me as we searched for apps. He suggested some free ones, but I was feeling giddy in light of his sitting close to me without a scowl on his face, and said we could look at some "paid" apps. The first one we chose, at .99 was the "Fart" app. It down loaded in a few seconds and before we knew it we were engaged in an honest to goodness "moment"! The "excuse me" was my favorite, while Jacob was a fan of the "silent but deadly".

Thank you Apple, for providing me the key to bonding with my teenager.

No depths are too far to sink when it comes to connecting with your kids,
Lisa

  1. Well Lisa, I am extremely happy to read how much good the iPAD brings to your life. I assume you know why it makes me happy. In any case Dear 'Call-me-crazy-contini' you have me as the reader of your blog! :)

  3. Ha! I opened my Ipad yesterday sitting in church waiting for Tucker's play and saving seats for the family... Imagine the pride I felt when it came on and the ENTIRE screen was covered with pictures from Doddle Buddy of steaming piles of POOP!! LOL
Note to self: set password when leaving Ipad (aka Ipoo'd) unattended!
Can't wait to read more adventures from Casa Chaos! Oh and if you didn't already, I recommend buying the external keyboard/charger. Xoxo. G.
